Through painting, murals, and socially engaged practice, I create space where Black folks, especially Black women, encounter themselves with tenderness, reverence, and possibility.
Yewande Kotun Davis is a Nigerian American interdisciplinary artist and creative wellness facilitator. Her work explores belonging, memory, grief, interiority through narrative portraiture, murals and public art, and participatory experiences.
